Clyde Ashley is the Original founder of C&J Security Services Inc.  Mr. Ashley has over 30 years of electronic security experience. He began his career in security with the United Sates Army.  With the US Army he reached the rank of Staff Sargent and was stationed at Ft Polk, Heidelberg Germany, Ft Jackson and Frankfurt, Germany. Mr. Ashley’s role included the deployment of Intrusion Detection Systems, Transient Electromagnetic Pulse Surveillance Technology (TEMPEST) countermeasures, Facility hardening, SCIF, and surveillance systems. The last three years of his military career were spent working with Interpol on an international, level 1 drug suppression team.  His mission was to identify high level drug traffickers and their preferred methods of trafficking.  Various methods of both overt and covert data collection were used to develop cases against both local operatives and geographically distant subjects.  Interdiction operations were then able to use this intel to interrupt the organizations’ operations, thereby preventing the distribution of harmful narcotics and starving the illicit organizations of funding. Clyde  then took his passion for the security industry to law enforcement and was a member of the Prince William County Police Department in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Mr. Ashley’s duties as a sworn officer included patrolling designated areas, enforcing laws of Virginia, answering calls for help, arresting individuals suspected of committing crimes, issuing citations, and testifying in court on behalf of the Commonwealth.   He rose quickly through the ranks, becoming a crime scene technician and a hostage negotiator.  Clyde began his private security industry work at VASEC and later with Security Services and Technologies (SST).  While at SST he was an installer, service tech, and service manager responsible for the Mid-Atlantic Region.  He then moved to Operations Project Manager for National Accounts.  He served as a technical advisor and expert authority for the operation of critical and physical security devices and equipment, such as but not limited to, automated access control, integrated electronic security systems, bio-metric readers, surveillance equipment, and turnstiles.  Mr. Ashley worked with Verizon on a national level and was in charge of projects for the National Association of Securities Dealers, The Executive office of the President, Smithsonian’s hall of the presidents, US Post office nationwide, DuPont, and The Department of interior.  Mr. Ashley went on to work at Sentrillion with responsibility for the Overall operation responsible for pre and post-sales engineering, sales support, project management, installation service, and maintenance.   He also provided program management and logistical support services for the US Border Security Deployment program on border video surveillance.  Mr. Ashley then moved to SETEC where he was ultimately responsible for the managed access control of approximately 350 different sites using 3 different head-end software packages.  Mr. Ashley has also held Project Management and Security Operational positions with Diebold and Tyco.

Clyde is an American Patriot who rides a Harley has won several awards for his craft beers.  He is a life member of the VFW and active in other civic organizations.  When it comes to security his motto is “Always do the Right Thing” to provide the utmost customer service; utilizing the finest integrated security solutions in the protection of our customers’ personnel and property.”
